If ye are prepared ye shall not fear

For Family Home Evening we discussed the principle of being prepared,
brainstormed some scenario's of natural disasters that could occur in our area,
then pulled out our 72 hour kits to see how well we were prepared.

I sent the kids to their rooms with their separate back packs
and asked each of them to put on the clothes that we had packed in our kits for each of them
last time we 'prepared' ourselves.

I think this picture adequately shows how well (or not) we are prepared....
The Wilcox family is officially FEARFUL.

Oh MAN!! Love the clothes, but seriously, WHO taught your kids how to pose like that!??? I'm excited that you're journaling on your blog so we can all benefit :) I should probably do that so that everyone can check up on me and make sure I don't slack off! Just kidding, I'm COMPLETELY committed (just a little forgetful sometimes, so feel free to remind me!).. LOVE YOU!

That is hysterical! I think I know what we are doing for our next FHE (as long as I don't have to put on what is in MY backpack, circa 20 pounds ago). Love you crazy Wilcox's!!!!!
